                               Command : UPDATE

 SYNTAX:
   [##:##] Command: update [

The `update' command shows you the current time and date, plus the time and
date at which the next update will occur. It also reports the number of coun-
tries that have voted to have a demand update.

If demand updates are allowed (see info for the `version' command and `hours-
file'), you can register your vote to have an update by adding the word
`request' after the `update' command. If you later wish to withdraw your
request, use `update cancel'.

You can use the `version' command to see how many votes must be registered
before a demand update will happen. The `country' command will show you which
specific countries are currently requesting a demand update (they are marked
with asterisks).
