This directory contains patches for BSD/OS. The patch naming scheme consists of: A letter indicating what part of the system the patch is concerned with. The most common letters will be `K' indicating a kernel patch or `U' indicating a patch for a utility. Three digits indicating the release number (e.g., 200 for the 2.0 release). A dash. Three digits indicating the patch number. The patch named K210-001 would be the first kernel patch for the 2.1 release. The .asc files in the signatures directory are PGP signatures signed with the official BSDI public key.
