XV OLYMPIC GAMES
HELSINKI 1952

In the 15th Olympic Games, held in the Finnish capital Helsinki,
pes{pallo was played as an exhibition sports. The two teams, which
played at 31th of July in the Olympic Stadium, were formed by the
two Finnish Sports Federations, SVUL (PPL) and TUL. PPL won 8 to
4. The attendance was 19 309. The opening throw was completed by
the inventor of the game, professor Lauri 'Tahko' Pihkala.
