I just mailed to you version 1.1 of the more advanced pedit program.
It reads everything from the standard input, first the 'input' and 'outp;ut'
file names, then 'command' lines of the form described at the beginning
of the source code.
As you can see, I just used a natural exponential function for interpolation
between pitches.
By the way, I think that message you sent about exponential functions had
a mistake. I think it was just inverted. You said if one does a linear
interpolation with cps, it will sound exponential, but I belive you want
to do a linear interpolation with oct to sound exponential.
Right?
