  GCS TrayClock 3.03

GCS TrayClock displays the time and date over the
windows clock in the system tray. The time and date
can be formatted to the users liking. The program
interface is accessed through 'Ctrl Alt C' (or 'Ctrl Alt c')
or the tray icon, depending upon which option is checked.

Note: 1. The system clock must be displayed in the tray
for this program to display properly. If it is not
present, right click the tray area, select the
properties menu item, and click the 'Show the
           clock' check box.
        2. When setting time and date parameters in the
program interface, the parameters may not show
properly until the Tray button is pressed.

  Features:

  1. Several font and font color choice available.
  2. Background can be any color. Use the 'Left click & hold,
drag to color, release' bar to grab color.
  3. Bold font available.
  4. Large font for visually impaired or easier viewing.
  5. Time can be placed on top or below date. Time / date
formats are interchangeable in both lines.
  6. Can shorten three character day to two (Mon - Mo).
  7. Can fine tune position of date within tray and line spacing.
  8. Can start program to tray.
  9. Display non military time without the meridian.
  10. A time offset (in minutes) has been added. This allows the
clock to be adjusted +/- minutes from the computer's time.
This would be used when tray clock is being run on a computer
that has administrative privileges and an incorrect time.
  11. Wide display to hold more information.
Note: There is a slight delay for adjustment when the
'Wide display' check box is checked.
(Using wide display will cause the clock to cover up
the right most tray icon. Start this program first
at boot to cause TrayClock to cover it's own tray
icon. Check the 'Wide display' check box for this
option. The TrayClock tray icon will not be displayed
until this option is checked. If there are programs
installed on a computer that automatically start
upon boot, there icon(s) will interfere with this
process. There is no known way to reorder the
          tray icons.)
  12. A daily startup routine has added to the program. Click
on the 'Processes' button and enter the full path to programs
as described. A check will be made to see if the program
is already running and if so, the program will be shut down
and then restarted. This program shutdown is a hard
program shutdown and data may not be saved (parameters,
entered data, etc). Uncheck the checkbox to the left of
the 'Processes' button to disable this feature altogether.
A ; can be placed before any restart line to disable the
processing of that line only. To terminate an executing
program, place a ~ before the file name. Times must be
      in military format (0000 = midnight, 0600 = 6:00am,
      1200 = noon, 1300 = 1:00pm, 2359 = 11:59pm).  To start
(or terminate) a program hourly, place an 'hr' followed by the
minute desired within the brackets. To kill a program when-
ever it is found running, place 'kill' in the time parameter.
To start any programs upon TrayClock starting, place 'strt'
      in the time parameter.

       Examples:
       [0800][C:\Program Files\Program1.exe]
       ;[0800][C:\Program Files\Program2.exe]
       [0800][~C:\Program Files\Program3.exe]
       [2359][C:\Program Files\Program4.exe]
       [hr15][C:\Program Files\Program5.exe]
       [kill][C:\Program Files\Program6.exe]
       [strt][C:\Program Files\Program7.exe]

Right click the 'Processes' button to manually start all the
programs in the 'Processes' list or to disable all program
execution for the rest of the current day.

  Problems with displaying:

Too many time/date parameters can cause the display
to look cluttered. Bold font can also cause cluttering if
too many items are trying to be displayed. Experiment
to find the proper amount of data that the clock display
  can handle.

  Time/Date Formats:

  Time formats: hours: h = 9, hh = 09
                minutes: n = 3, nn = 03
                seconds: s = 5, ss = 05
                meridian: AM/PM, A/P, or AMPM
                auto: t = 5:39 AM
                auto: tt = 05:39:29 PM
(leave off meridian for military time)

   Date formats: month: m = 7, mm = 07, mmm = Jul, mmmm = July
                day: d = 3, dd = 03, ddd = Sun, dddd = Sunday, ddddd = 7/9/07
                year: yy = 07, yyyy = 2007

   Examples: h:mmA/P ddd - will display - 2:05P Fri
                   m-dd-yyyy - will display - 7-03-2007
h:mm~A/P ddd - will display - 2:05 Fri (drop meridian)

Almost all characters and spaces can be inserted into
                   a date/time line.
