$hopKeep, version 4.0
---------------------
The following are some of the improvements that have been made to $hopKeep, since the release of version 3.9:

- Purchasing form and reports added, allowing you to record your purchases from suppliers, adjust in-stock quantities, print purchase orders, and view/print reports related to purchases.
- On the Orders form, when all orders were displayed, then orders related to the current day were viewed, the following message might unnecessarily appear: "The (previously) displayed record is no longer on file; it was probably deleted by another user." This error has been fixed.
- On the Menu Manager form, when menu options were specified for a new user, then updated, the list of menus in the grid turned to scrambled eggs (re-ordered non-sensibly). This nonsense is no-more.
- On the Orders, and Cash Register forms, checking/unchecking the List Discontinued Products checkbox now produces the proper results.

$hopKeep, version 3.9
---------------------
The following are some of the improvements that have been made to $hopKeep, since the release of version 3.8:

- It is now possible to change the currency symbol ($) that appears within $hopKeep, and on invoices, receipts, and reports. For details, see the file called _Q&A.TXT in the folder in which you installed $hopKeep (the default installation folder is: C:\Program Files\$hopKeep).
- On the Take Customer Orders, and Cash Register forms, using only the keyboard, to move from a dropdown box to a cell on the grid, use the Tab key; to move from cell to cell, use the Arrow keys.

$hopKeep, version 3.8
---------------------
The following are some of the improvements that have been made to $hopKeep, since the release of version 3.7:

- When the Ca$h Regi$ter form was opened, the following message might be shown, even when it shouldn't be: "In the Taxes form, you have not specified any tax rates, or the Goods Tax Rate or Service Tax Rate is zero. The rates that you specify would be used to automatically fill cells (on the Ca$h Regi$ter form) and dropdown boxes (on the Ca$h Regi$ter, and Orders form), to calculate line-item and bottom line taxes. Would you like to do so now? Click Cancel to NEVER be asked this question again." This error has been fixed, which means that Goods/Services taxes are now filled in correctly when a product is selected for a line item on the Ca$h Regi$ter form.
- When a processing message was shown (e.g. "Delete selected row?"), and a message (that was previously set in the Messenger) popped up at the same time, this caused $hopKeep to freeze. This bug has been exterminated!
- Balances and Taxes reports now display properly.

$hopKeep, version 3.7
---------------------
The following are some of the improvements that have been made to $hopKeep, since the release of version 3.6:

- On the Employees form, fields have been added for you to specify whether or not commissions (related to sales on the Ca$h Regi$ter form) are recorded for each employee, and the commission percentages for calculations.
- For sales related to the Ca$h Regi$ter form, calculations of commissions for employees, based on sub-totals, or totals, or the extended price of each line item.
- On the Products form, designate products as "goods" or "service".
- A Taxes form has been added: specify the tax percentage that will be used for line item calculations on goods or services, and defaults related to taxes that will be used on the Ca$h Regi$ter form.
- Besides menu restrictions, another layer of security has been added to the Ca$h Regi$ter form, so that only the user who records a sale, or an Admin user, can edit or delete the record. This is very important, since $hopKeep now records commissions related to each record.
- On the Orders form, it is now possible to list back-order(s), by entering a negative value for the quantity of a line item. You may also list a product more than once, and all (duplicate) line items will appear on a printed invoice.
- Back-orders, Daily Balances, Commissions, Goods Tax Amounts, and Service Tax Amounts reports have been added.
- To delete records from a grid is now as easy as you would expect. Simply click in the LEFT-MOST column (the column that contains the black triangle) of the row you want to delete (the entire row will be highlighted), and hit the Del(ete) key.
- You can now delete multiple rows from a grid by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking in the LEFT-MOST column (the column that contains the black triangle) of the rows you want to delete, then hitting the Del(ete) key. NOTE: Use the Ctrl key (NOT the Shift key).
