IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

AutoDOS was designed to make running a set of command-line programs easier
for the user. For example, to set up games like Doom, Duke3D, C&C, etc. each
individually under OS/2 or Win95 would be a hassle, but suppose you took
AutoDOS, set up one icon, and then placed the games in the menu. You don't
have to make specific settings for each game. AutoDOS is not just an
ordinary menu. It has Screensaver, color, sound, Automated key pressing, etc.
All of this happens under the intuitive GUI. The best part of all of this is
that AutoDOS 2000 is FREEWARE!

AutoDOS used to be distributed on floppy. This new version of AutoDOS 2000
will NOT fit on a floppy disk and was designed for CDROM or INTERNET
distribution. Because of this, you must unzip the file AUTODOS.ZIP to an
empty folder on your hard drive, preferrably C:\TEMP. C:\TEMP is the
default source in the setup program. If you place it in another location,
you must specify this location during the installation process.

There should be FIVE files in AUTODOS.ZIP including:

README.TXT
SETUP.EXE
AUTODOS.Z
UZ.EXE
INFLATE.DAT

The FREEWARE version is freely distributable, and can be placed on
collection CD-ROMs as long as an email is sent telling us what CD it
was placed on.
