PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Golf Master II is designed for Tournament Scorekeepers, League Managers and Individual Golfers. The program may be used for organizing and scoring tournaments of all sizes and also supports an unlimited number of leagues and seasonal tournaments. Golf Master II may be set for calculating and updating US and Canadian Slope and non/Slope handicaps and a comprehensive selection of player statistics.

A wide range of gross, net, and gross/net sorts are featured, including Skins, Regular, Hidden Hole, Best Ball, Stableford (Points) and Callaway. Sorting may be done for the entire field, by flight or by group totals. Up to 26 multiple-round scores are maintained. 

Tournament organizing includes automatic flights and organizing players in 2, 3, or 4-somes by handicap, randomly, random mixed flights or round robin. Grouping may also be done in ascending (best players last) or descending mode based on accumulated gross scores for multiple-round tournaments. Alternate men/ladies twosomes may also be made. A handy "Rules of Golf" reference is included.



SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
The program has been designed for use on all Windows 32bit platforms.

Golf Master II is shareware. You are free to try it for a period of 15 days. The zip file may be distributed freely. 
  
To uninstall, click on Windows [Start], [Settings], [Control Panel] and select Add/Remove Programs. Select "Golf Master II" and click the Add/Remove button.

QUICK START:
Golf Master II is fully operational. Help tips are available by simply moving the mouse cursor over the control for a description of its function. Click the Help Icon for more detailed information on program operation. For answers to any questions not covered in the help file, please e-mail me at -  wbabin@.sympatico.ca

A sample file is included with eight names and scores. Click the Open Folder Icon and select the TEST.TNT file. To view or print the sorted results, click the Display Icon or click [Tournament], [Display/Print Sorted Scores] on the menu bar. Select the Competition, select Gross, Net, or Gross/Net and the method of sorting (Individual, Group, etc.). Note that competitions such as Skins do not have Group sorts. 

To clear the scores, click [Tournament], [Clear Tournament Scores], or click the [Records] icon and select [Clear. Handicaps and/or Statistics may be updated if these options were selected under [Setup], [Default Settings].  Multiple round totals may be updated for leagues or extended tournaments. Enter new scores by clicking on the player's name and entering hole-by-hole results. The program will accept double-digit hole scores. Enter 1{tab} for a hole-in-one.

To edit handicaps, player's names etc, click the [Records] icon and click on the player's name. 

Click the [Courses] icon to enter any number of Course settings. The course to be played must be selected along with the file on the File Selection screen this automatically updates handicaps based on the course slope rating.

A new file may be started by clicking the Open Folder icon and entering a new name. Click the [Records] icon to enter the player's names. Scoring may be done on multiple files by switching from file to file.

4/05/2002: Removed players not "In Competition" from the Skins sort and added their status to the printout for Skins and Quota Points.
Fixed screen blanking when clicking [x] (exit form) instead of the [Exit] button on the [Select Tournament Sort] form.

12/13/01: Added a register for changing the "In Competition" status to simplify the selection of players who participate in supplementary competitions such as skins, and also to include/exclude seasonal players from the automatic methods of setting foursomes, and participation in group competitions.

The seller warrants that the program will perform substantially in accordance with the accompanying descriptive materials. The seller disclaims all other warranties, either express or implied, to the maximum permitted by law.

The entire liability of the seller and the exclusive remedy shall be at the seller's option (a) return of the price paid or (b) modification and replacement of the software if it does not meet the above condition.

The buyer agrees (a) that the software will be used for one stand-alone computer and that copies will be used for archival purposes only. (b) That the software will not be de-compiled, reverse-engineered, modified or merged into another program.
