Definition of Trialware
--------------------------
Trialware stands for trial software. Trialware is any time-limited or feature-limited software that allows you to try the software before you purchase it. After the trial period has ended or if you wish to take advantage of additional features, you will have to purchase a license to the software. Otherwise, you can Uninstall and remove the software from your computer.

How Trialware differs from Shareware
---------------------------------------
Trialware differs from "shareware" not only in name, but also in the fact that the term "shareware" is old-fashioned and non-descriptive. The word "shareware" was coined to describe software that was obtained and then shared freely with others, usually by diskette. Today with the Internet, this meaning is obsolete. In addition, the reference to sharing might give people the impression that it is okay to purchase shareware and then share the registered copy with others. Trialware, on the other hand, means what it says, trial software.
