Ray's Letters and Numbers v 2.0 Ray Le Couteur 1997-1999

Overview
Free Windows multimedia educational program for children aged 3-6. A fun
packed way for children to learn the alphabet, numbers, counting, simple
spelling, keyboard skills, and much more.

System Requirements
Almost any computer running Windows 3.1/95/98. A soundcard is recommended,
but not essential.

Installation
Simply run the installation program "setup" (or rayabc20) and follow on
screen instructions.

Note: the shared file, vbrun300.dll, is installed into the program folder/directory
(c:\rletters by default). This avoids conflicts during uninstallation and makes
installation over a network more straightforward. If you are sure that vbrun300.dll
is already on your system, you can safely delete the copy in the program
folder/directory.

Network Installation
Installation should be carried out by the network administrator and should be
very easy, as all required files are installed into the single program directory.
However, security measures can prevent files being installed or the installation
of icons in the programs menu.

Running the Program
Win 3.1
Click on the 'Letters and Numbers' icon in the 'Ray's Letters and Numbers' group
which will be on your desktop.

Win95/98
From the start menu, select programs and then the 'Ray's Letters and Numbers' folder.
Then select the 'Letters and Numbers' icon to run the program.

Note: The program makes use of the Windows clipboard.
Data stored in the clipboard (eg by the 'copy' command) will be lost.

Uninstall
Simply click the uninstall icon (this may be password protected to avoid accidental
deletion by your child). If you forget the password, delete the file 'letters.opt'
from the program directory.
