Touch Demo Ver. 1.0
 1999 David D. Thompson

To Install:
Create a new folder called c:\Touche .
Unzip touche.zip to the new folder.
Drag the shortcut to your desktop.

To Uninstall:
Just delete the folder\files and the shortcut. There are no registry
entries or system files to worry about.

If you put the files in a directory other than c:\Touche\demo, keep them all together, including the help files, and you will need to change the properties of the shortcut.

I have included samples of my own compositions in two versions, plain (unTouchd) and enhanced (Touchd - the last letter of the file name is a "t"). The only differences between the two versions is what was created by Touch (No cheating with a sequence editor!). It is a straight up comparison of pre- and post- Touch.

Loonsng.mid and Loonsngt.mid are very plain(no reverb, chorus, etc.) midi files arranged for SB16.

Lnsngxg.mid and Lnsngxgt.mid are arranged for XG compatible cards, but also should work well with any wave table card.

I wrote Loon Song originally for pipe organ but this guitar and flute arrangement works too. Please visit my website to hear more examples of my work in MP3 format, including my first E-Symphony.

MIDI files created with the Demo version of Touch will slowly fade away (velocity = zero) after approxiamately two to two and a half minutes of play (depending on tempo). Sorry about that, but I really need to motivate you to spend the ten dollars for the regular, unlimited version of Touch.

To purchase the unlimited version of Touch, run the program "regsoft.exe" that is bundled with this demo and follow the intructions. You may order on-line, by toll free phone, by fax, or by mail.

Thank you,
DT
