Introduction
------------

This  software  allow  you to organize all you patches and cracks info into
tree-like  database  with many capabilities: find (by provider, platform or
name  mask),  patch,  undo  patch  and  more. Easy to use. Interface like a
Windows Explorer.



System requirements and install issues
--------------------------------------

Require MDAC v2.0 or highter. Free download available from
http://www.microsoft.com If you have installed Microsoft Office 97 or highter,
you have installed MDAC and not needed to install it again.

MDAC is very frequently installed part of MS Windows systems. Try to run
PatchBase before installing MDAC.



If you have installed BDE, you MUST uncheck "BDE" component during install.

PatchBase  shipped  with  preinitialized  database  template,  but  you can
initialize (full clear) you own database. Change your directory to PatchBase
and type:

   patchbase -initbase

PatchBase prompt you confirmation. Press "Yes" to confirm. This is not undoable
action!


Using
-----

Using  program is very easy. You can use toolbar or popup menus to navigate and
edit items.
