Changes to abp
==============

Version 2.00
------------

* Added support for sub-categories with a full 40 character
category name. This feature significantly increases the
integration of abp with Quicken and Microsoft Money.

* Add Category dialog now asks for optional sub-category.

* Category balance screen now provides both Totals and
  sub-totals, supporting new sub-category structure.

* New option to sum all category balances between specified
dates, available by CTRL+G or from menu screen. The program
will display the summed balances and the current balances
side-by-side (the current balances are derived from all the
  transactions in the data file).

* Added ability to navigate in Accounts View screen. Transaction
details are selectable from the keyboard by pressing Enter,
Tab or Esc, or with the pen. Pressing Tab or Esc from the
Transaction View will revert to the Accounts View.

* abp now remembers last view and will restore same view when
  data file is next opened.

* Added running totals to transactions selected by Category or
  by Description.

* Added ability to select transactions by Reference, Reconciled
or Unreconciled using the Find button on the toolbar

* When using Find by Reconciled or Unreconciled, the transaction
view changes to show account instead of category. Transactions
for the current account are shown in italic font.

* Transactions can now be flipped between reconciled or unreconciled
status by pressing "r" or "u" on the keyboard.

* Normally transactions are edited by tapping them. Using the
Other Preferences option (CTRL+Q) this action can be changed to
  reconcile transactions by tapping them.

* Added ability to show "Today's balance" at the top of the
screen, rather than "Opening Balance". This preference
is remembered and will be restored when data file is next
opened. Note that "Current Balance" shows the sum of all
transactions for the account, included future-dated. Select
by CTRL+Q or by tapping the balances with your pen.

* Completely revised the entering and editing of splits to
be much more intuitive. When editing splits previous data
is now presented, rather than starting again from scratch.

* Standing orders now allow a reference to be added.

* Multiple transactions in a single day are now shown in the
  correct sequence.

* Cancelling the entry of a transfer no longer leaves a one-sided
  transaction which can't be edited.

* Transactions can now be reconciled from the Find screen.

* Fixed problem with standing orders to account other than the
currently-viewed account incorrectly updating balances at the
  top of screen.

* Added a warning if CAPS LOCK is on.

* More helpful messages if unexpected date format is encountered in
  Import routine.

* Converting an existing abp version 1.xx data file will ensure that
it can be opened in version 2.00 by selecting the filename from the
  System screen.
