Subject: The Norwalk Kite Festival

In the absence of Sean & Johnna Doyle, who are, I'm sure,  flying stacks
of Dynakites across the Grand Canyon, I would like to announce the Norwalk
Kite Festival.  It is to be held on Saturday, October 21 (Raindate: Oct.
22) from 11 AM to 4 PM at Veteran's Memorial Park, Seaview Ave. in Norwalk
Connecticut.  It's sponsored by the ConnectiKiters and the Norwalk
Recreation and Parks Dept.  It is a great outing for the whole family and
is free.
 
There will be music, an information tent, kite making for children, kite
demos from single line to stunters (including a rokaku battle), teddy bear
drops for charity starting at 1:30 (bring your own stuffed animal, 2 lb.
limit) and a free public kite flying area with prizes.  

As of Tulsa, many of the best flyers in the Northeast (Sudden Flight,
KFAN, Sandy Wagner, Billy Ng, and more) were planning to attend.  Team
UpRoar has scheduled an appearance prior to their leaving for the World
Cup.
