I have a foil that I am tired of flying and would like to "try" to convert it
to something akin to a flexifoil. Are there any flyers out there who have
attempted to try this project. Any luck? Any tips? or just don' t do it!!

Thanks

RE: converting a foil to a ?flexi?... (i paraphrase)

Curiosity is always appropriate.
But we need more info.
What kind of foil?
A single line I presume?
Note the difference between the depth (leading edge to trailing edge) and
width (the leading edge) of the single line foil and the long narrow shape
of the flexi.
A better chioce if this is the case would be to make it a two-line foil
and then add trailing edge lines to convert to four-line control.

Anyway, let us know and we can be very specific.
