Without a doubt, one person who did this was James White from New Zealand. James organised the New Zealand World kite festival in Napier, and what a special place to be Napier was last March! The sky was filled with kites from many, many nations. Kites are fun, the festival was fun, but it was a whole lot more than that too. It was a time when the world was one place, where everyone was friendly and laughing and enjoying themselves. It was a special time that we will all remember for the rest of our lives... and tell many other people about, and it will surely become one of the legendary kite festivals, one of the most special events we have been to. Sadly, James has passed away. But the Napier festival will live on in our memories, and maybe someone else will continue this wonderful event and the world will be an even better place. Thank you James Karen O'Connor, Western Australia = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
