Replying to the recent question:
my copy of the book says it was published in the Netherlands under the title
Vliegers maken.
Botermans has published works on several subjects, so I suspect he may be
just an editor, and the man credited with the text of the book, Rob van den
Dobbelsteen, may have been the author proper of the Dutch edition.
