Oops!! I found out this morning that the Southern California Timing
Association will be running race cars on El Mirage Dry Lake the week
before Memorial Day when we were planning to have the Buggy Boogie Sprang
Thang.. It's not a great idea to mix kite buggies and 200+ mph race
cars.. So... The Buggy Boogie Sprang Thang '96 will be re-scheduled for
the weekend _after_ Memorial Day.. Thursday May 30 to Sunday June 2..
E-mail Corey Jensen (coreykite@aol.com) or me for directions/information
or check out my web page.. It's all posted there.. There's a near
full-moon that weekend so the potential for some _awesome_ moonlight
buggying is there.. See y'all on the lake bed!!

This might be a real good thing. The last time I was out there there
was quite a few mud chips in the strech from Walt's cove to the other
side (cross wind). Maybe the race cars will break up the chips.
