I am just starting to get back into kite flying and was thinking of buying a Griffin stunt kite. I just wanted someone's opinion on the kite. Thanks in advance. ^ ^ @ @ ! >-< = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Tue, 25 Apr 1995 01:21:25 -1000 From: FEUT22A@prodigy.com (Mike Kelley) Message-Id: <3nilvl$f50@usenetp1.news.prodigy.com> Organization: Prodigy Services Company 1-800-PRODIGY Subject: Re: Anyone flown a Griffin :-) ? A Griffin was my first stunt kite. I still enjoy it and fly it often. I often recommend it as an upgrade from beginner kites. For it's money it's one of the best there is, stable, easy to fly, does great stunts, fast, and pulls like a locomotive in a good wind. I would recommend getting the graphite version over the fiberglass unless you're a crash-jockey (like I was and still am a bit). If your a decent flyer, the Super-Ultralight Griffin is great in light wind and has one of the lowest wing loadings of any kite on the market. Everyone either has or should have a Griffin in their flight bag!
