A guinea pig?!  No no.  If you check out the "Choose Your Own Adventure"
Zork books, they actually show grues standing next to humans.  They are
about the size of a human, perhaps a bit taller (maybe ranging from 6'
to 6'3" or so).  Quite intimidating. :)
