I started playing text adventures in 9th grade. Somewhere in 1982.
I was playing this game on the Cyber at GA Tech. The game was awesome,
much better than Adventure. I still remember about 90% of the game and
would love to find out more about it!!

Here's a description.

The game starts out with the following description...

You are standing in a field before an outhouse, the birds are blowing and
the trees are chirping.

>> enter building

You are standing in a pile of shit. You see a shovel.

>> get shovel. dig. dig.

You find a door.

>> open door. d. n.

You see a shower.

>> Take shower. If you don't the pirate will kill you later for
smelling like a piece of shit.

What really made this game great was the monkey witha peg leg!!

Anyway, I used to play this game on a 300 baud modem attached to
a printer. No screen. It took about 2 hours and a roll of paper
to get through the first part of the game. I had all the moves
committed to memory, just the random events like the gun jamming and
the pirate would get me sometimes.

Please help!! Send me email at bob.schultz@atlantaga.attgis.com

Thanks,

bob
