Oops.

"Dreck"? (Another fine word from the German language, like "Angst" und
          "verboten"?)

S101 was my first "text" adventure after almost two years, when I played it
back in 1991, and I liked it very much. The sex theme has grown _really_
old since then, after 2 sequels and LGOPII, but at the time I didn't mind.
There are some very nice ideas in it, which have nothing to do with sex.
My favourite was the "Island of Lost Soles":
As you can easily imagine, it was quite a challenge for someone of
non-British/American/Canadian/Australian... origin to find out all
the 80 names, but it was worth it (my sub-favourite being the group
of carnivores in the wood singing the "Jets" theme from the West Side Story;
their name was ... - no, this would be a spoiler).

By the way, my personal ranking of Infocom authors is still:
1. S. Meretzky
2. B. Moriarty
(If Meretzky ever writes S401, he might loose his place. I liked S201
 and S301, too, but 4 variations on the same theme are too much...)

Sorry, I _had_ to turn the knife before pulling it out :-)

Oliver
