I've got some titles in my TRS80 Model 1 collection, namely Circus,
Arrow of Death, The Golden Baton, Escape from Pulsar 7 and Time Machine.
They are Scott-Adams type games but written (I think) in the UK.

I'd be interested to know if they ever appeared on any other machines of
   that era?

I remember playing (and enjoying) Circus on my C64 a million year ago. I'm
qute sure that Arrow of Death and The Golden Baton appeard for the C64 too.
And I would think that all these were also converted for the ZX Spectrum,
although that is just a guess.

And while we're on the subject of TRS-80 adventures: Could anyone give me
any info about old (about 1981) TRS-80 game "Lord of the Rings"?
