Heh, what, now?  That's how I got through that -- I thought that was the
_solution_ to that problem.  There's another way to do it!??

Later I found out one must touch the table, get the grue repellent from Zork II
and then drop the scenic vista torch off in the room you go to when touching
the III table. I never new this feature of the table, which when used gives
you a point. Thus I finished with 6 out of 7 points. I played Zork III back
when it first came out. I now have the lost treasures Zork III and it will
not let me put the lamp (or the torch) into the chest. Another thing it won't
let me do is put the staff in the chest. Used to, you could put it in there
and then kill the man and take his treasures, without fear of breaking the
staff :)

I wish there was some place I could get '1st edition' versions of those games.
There were so many fun bugs we all miss out on now.
