Now this is from sheer memory; the Zorks were so long ago and I don't have
a version that will run on my Mac (I have Amiga and IBM formats. Any sug-
gestions to how I might be able to get Mac versions).

SPOILER:
( can someone show me how to do a REAL spoiler character? I use ELM)

I bet you you solved the Cyclops puzzle in a different manner. There are
two solutions: one is the by saying the name of the man who killed Cyclops
(or first letter of each line in the black book) and the second is to give
him the food and water. I think the food and water solution will give you
points.
