cf. "The Rusty Lantern" from Beyond Zork and "The Brass Lantern" from
Deadline.
In the excellent history, it implies (I think) that Lord
Dimwitt Flathead's coronation ceremony took two years, but I was under
the impression that it was longer than that. I remember reading
somwhere that it took 2/3 of his reign. Although, that is not
neccesarily a contradiction -- I find it very conceivable that Lord
Dimwitt had a 6 -year reign.
If there is anyone from Activision out there, would you
consider publishing a set with ONLY the package fillers in it? No
games, just stuff. One package could be the compiled histories of the
GUE. I think I've seen three versions of histories in different
releases of Zork 1. I'd pay money to have my hands on this
information in the non-compiled form -- seperate books, not the LTOI
Manual.

PS I've looked up the reference, and I found out that I was
wrong. The ceremony itself took "18 fun-filled months", but it took
13 years to plan. -- _The Lives of Twelve Flatheads_, Boswell
Barwell, pp. ?? - ??, 804 GUE, Frobozz Magic Biography Publishing
