Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "ridiculously easy"?  This must be a new
definition of the term I was previously unaware of.  Just getting the babel
fish has driven many a player crazy.  "Moonmist" is easy -- doesn't require
mapping, and it could be mostly solved by use of the cryptic "examine" command.

Zork I was pretty hard.  Zork II, I gave up early; it was clear that this was
the episode in which they'd stuffed all the stupid "impossible" puzzles.  The
best Infocom game I've ever played was Planetfall -- a great story, lots of
depth, but still winnable by a competent adventure player after several days
of concentrated effort.  There was a definite lack of "oh boy, you'll never
figure this out" puzzles.  But Enchanter runs a close second (with the
exception of the maze with the Terror, which was tiresome).

Of course, I really like Ditch Day Drifter as well.
