Yes, I thought the best package was Suspended, with the Face.

If I remember right, the original packaging of Zork II was nothing fancy.  Nor
was the repackaging of "Zork I".  Deadline had lots of neat stuff and came in
a dossier.  As you mentioned, Starcross came in a flying saucer.  Suspended
came in box with a recessed, full-sized, face mask.  Witness was a dossier.
Then with Planetfall, the started the "folder" approach, which they used for
Planetfall, Enchanter, Infidel, Sorcerer, and maybe Seastalker.  I am not sure
about Cutthroats, but when they got to Hitchhiker's they changed to the box
format we are all familiar with.

Maybe we ought to compile detailed descriptions of the packaging (original
and re-release) for inclusion in the "Infocom Fact Sheet."

Oh, of course I have my Don't Panic button.  I still have my original disk and
manual for Zork (before they called it Zork I) from Personal Software.  I just
wish that I had kept the small box it came in...
