I've started playing Legend of Kyrandia, and I've gotten stuck almost
immediately. My basic question is: Is this game any damn good? More
specifically, the first time I started it, I found three stones in the
forest. The second time I started it, I only found one of them. I
don't think I did anything different, so what happened? More importantly,
I obviously need to help repair the bridge, but planks don't seem to be
available anywhere. I mean, the sign on the house is the obvious candidate,
but clicking on it does nothing useful, and I've clicked on about a billion
trees but none of them do anything. Also, is there any importance to the
fact that I seem to be able to pick an arbitrarily large number of roses?
Perhaps I should mention that I've alread gotten the amulet (or whatever the
thing in the lower right corner of the screen is), and that was trivial,
so either this is a very weird game or I'm missing something quite obvious.
Anyway, this game is giving me fits stylistically, so can anyone help me?

PS: Sure is pretty, though.
