I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that you don't need the comic book to crack the code.
Just a little skill in code breaking. The most frequently used letters
in the English language are E,T,A,O,N,R,I,S,H, in that order. Of course,
not everyone will agree with the exact order, and a short message may
not conform perfectly anyway. Persevere, and you'll get it.

The bad news is that you need to have read the comic book from the
documentation to survive the catacombs, a map of which is included
with the game.

Good Luck.
