Since we don't currently have the ability to code good actors, the best
bet seems to be to find excuses for the character to be alone in
the world of the text adventure.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how this can be established in a
believable way, or perhaps even an offering of a system of classification
for various ways of doing so?
