You may remember that, a few weeks ago, I mentioned that I had written a
text-adventure adaptation of "Waiting for Godot." Well, I decided to
expand it a bit, which is why it's taken so long. It's now called
"Modernism," and it includes both "Waiting for Godot" and "No Exit."

I've submitted a Mac version to info-mac, umich, and a few other places,
and a TADS .gam file to the IF archive at GMD, and these places ought to
be making it available sometime soon. At some point, I'll make an IBM
standalone version, but, to be honest, it's not high on my list of
priorities, and if somebody wanted to take the .gam file and make an IBM
standalone for me, I'd be eternally grateful.

"Modernism," by the way, is MailWare, which means that I request users
to send me something interesting in the mail. This is because I really
can't in good conscience charge for it. Just like the plays upon which
it is based, nothing whatsoever happens. Unlike the plays on which it is
based, the game does have something of a sense of humor about itself...

Let me know what you folks think of it. I'll be interested in hearing
your opinions.
