This is release 1.32 of RiscOS Frotz.

NB: My e-mail address is now musus@argonet.co.uk
    see also http://www.argonet.co.uk/users/musus/

System Requirements:
	Hardware	Any Acorn 32bit machine.
OS RISC OS 2.00 or later.
Memory 1Mb absolute minimum, 2Mb or more for full use.
Disc space	<512K (+space for the games). Will run from floppy.

You'll also need a copy of Guttorm Vik's excellent StrongHelp (v2.00 or later)
to read the documentation.

It *should* work on StrongARM machines (could someone verify that for me,
please? - I can't afford one yet, sob), and adapts to high/low resolution
  screen modes automatically.

Versions before 1.25 *almost* worked under RiscOS 2 (they didn't do
anything RO3 specific, but would have had a bit of trouble due to the
  templates and 'newlook' CMOS options).

1Mb is plenty for low-res, 16 colour, no multi-undo, VM, etc.
Ie. you need 2Mb to have real fun. I figure that a machine with 1Mb
isn't going to be using 256colour high-res screen modes anyway.

RiscOS Frotz has been tested on:

	RiscPC 700 with RO3.6, 12+1Mb, 540Mb IDE HD, 540Mb SCSI HD (VTi 16
		bit interface, AlSystems P*werROM),
Eizo 9070S Multiscan SVGA monitor (SVGA/VGA/Wierd modes)

	R260 (ARM3) with RO3.11, 8Mb, 100Mb SCSI HD (Acorn card),
Acorn AKF52 Multisync monitor (SVGA/VGA/TV modes)

	R260 (ARM3) with RO2.01, 8Mb , 100Mb SCSI HD (Acorn card),
Eizo 9070S Multiscan SVGA monitor (SVGA/VGA modes)

	A3000 (ARM3/FPA10) with RO2.00, 4Mb, 40Mb IDE HD (HCCS internal
interface, Armstrong Walker IDEFS), TV Res monitor

I'm not sure when the next major release will be, but top of my
list of things to do are:
	- Add support for V6 graphical games
	- Tidy up the sound support
	- Fix bugs :-(

The major changes since 1.31 are:
Gribble with requester windows 'overlapping' now fixed (Comp96/z5)
	  no longers locks the interpreter!
Auxiliary files are now given the correct filetype :-)
Game-supplied default names are now Riscosified (.txt -> /txt, etc.)
Version numbers now correct (and consistent, Julian :-)
Auto-expand 'g', 'z', etc. is now ignored for V5+ games
(the new 2.32 core seems to be getting stroppy here)
Slight ammendment to the scrollbar adding code
	 Templates now use consistent capitalisation
Slight tweaks to Config window handling
Some, ahem, errant features of the keyboard handling fixed.

The major changes between 1.31 and 1.25 were:
Fix for broken timed input operations. (Thanks Neil!)
RISC OS 2 support! (Velvet just got a RO2 machine)
	 Tweaks and Tidying
Now incorporates the Frotz 2.32 core
	 Speed improvements

The major changes between 1.25 and 1.12 were:
Sound support has now been added
Virtual memory is now (optionally) used for large story-files.
The full set of Frotz 2.22 hotkeys is now recognised.
The debugging options have been replaced by the debugging hotkey.
Some disc ops. are now better ordered to cut down
	  disc swapping on floppy-based machines.
Screen handling is faster (especially on slower machines).
The game palette is now definable via a nifty colour picker.
There are two new colours defined for use soley by the front-end.
Command word completion is now supported (see the manual).
The fonts have been restructured to use less memory
	  and correctly display accented characters.
Keyboard input of accented characters is now properly handled.
	 Slight improvements to the documentation.
A serious problem with failed 'script opens is now fixed.
New options: confirm overwrites, always append to 'scripts,
	  sound/volume, virtual memory.
Query windows are now used for queries resulting from requester
window activity, rather than the game screen.
The frotz core's textual messages are now found from the
messages file rather than being hard-coded. Many of them have
been expanded to provide more 'user friendly' errors. Um.
A dynamic area is now used for screen data (if possible).
The window templates have been revamped somewhat.
	 Minor tweaks.
Interactive help support (not terribly good yet, though).

The major changes between 1.12 and 1.11 were:
Some bugs have been fixed in !Frotz
Goodies have been updated slightly since release
	  1.11.
There are some new options, and a change or two to some
of the old ones. See the Help manual for full details.

!Frotz is built around the Frotz 2.32 Core, and is believed to
comply with standard 1.0 of the Specification of the Z-Machine,
for all except version 6 story-files.

Please read the documentation, in particular the license and
disclaimer!

THIS IS A BETA RELEASE:
Source code will be released later
There are probably one or two horrible bugs left
(The two previous releases had a couple of real corkers)
