This release of the KA9Q Internet code contains the following major files:

Documentation:

readme - this file

overview - an overview of the interfaces and protocols currently supported,
with a capsule summary of each along with notes on the implementation.

useguide - Practical details on using the "net.exe" program, including
full descriptions of the commands.

techref - a detailed guide to the guts of the code, with emphasis on the
interfaces between TCP/UDP and the application; intended for those wishing to
write their own application software or add subnet interface drivers.

net.exe - the actual executable program that provides the Internet services.

kisstnc.hex - a load image, in Intel Hex format, for the TNC-2 that turns it
into a very simple "link access controller". This is for use with an asynch
port that has been configured to operate in "ax25" as opposed to "slip" mode
(see "useguide"). In order to load your TNC with this code you also need to
replace the standard TNC-2 ROM with a special boot ROM. This code was
written by Mike Chepponis, K3MC.

autoexec.net - a file of commands that is automatically executed by net.exe
when it starts up. Note that this file must be present in the root directory
of the current drive when net.exe is started.

*.h, *.asm, *.c - the sources. They were written using the Aztec C compilers
for the Z-80 and the 8086. Note that pc100.c and pc100.h are unfinished
and are not yet usable.

makefile - this file, with the Aztec "make" command, will produce the
main executable file "net.exe".
