Hi all,

I've a question about a problem I'm seeing with minix-vmd 1.7.0 running
on a 386DX 33 MHz machine.

I'm working on developing software to poll information from a weather
station. The weather station connects to the computer via a serial
port. When I leave the station connected to a serial port for more than
a few minutes I eventually see the following console message:

"rs232handler: Warning too many interrupts: 4096"

If I let it go long enough, I'll see the number increase to 8192 and so
on.

I've tried both tty00 and tty01 and seen the same results. If the
program that I'm developing is running, no errors are reported.

The related entries in /etc/ttytab are:

tty00 unknown
tty01 network # changed this one just for fun

My guess is that the rs232handler is watching the serial ports for
interrupts and complaining because of the weather station activity.

Now, finally, my question. Is there something I need to configure to
keep the rs232handler from complaining? Should I even be worried in the
first place?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
