The question is: "Would a person with _only_ a 640k memory XT
be able to install this version or would a 'friend' have to
download this and install it on another machine then copy all
of this to 360k disks to install on the XT". From what I've
been reading no one with 360k disks and 640k memory is ever
going to get any version of MINIX installed without help and
another machine with megs of memory.

Ok, I'm thinking LINUX. What compiler was / is used to compiler
    the MINIX kernel then?
