  No, that NE1000,  which is what I have had working  (see my exchange with
Kees Bot about getting networking to work with dosminix 2.0.2 a few weeks
ago) should work fine.  The man page for boot, under TCP/IP confguration
explicitly mentions both NE1000 and NE2000 as being supported.

Vinent, you need to know which IRQ and base address your card is set for and
specify them in the DPETH=addr:irq:0 setting at boot time (at least with the
dosminix boot program ;-)  I believe W12 is IRQ 5, and on "down" to W15 for
IRQ 2 (I think it's "backwards" like that ;-).  Jumpers on W9, W10, and W11
set the base IO address to hex 300 (0x300).
