| SAVING STATE
| ============
|
| State refers to the current setup of the newsreader interface.
| The command to save your state is "Save Tknewsrc", and is found under
| the Actions menu in the menubar.
|
| The command is called "Save Tknewsrc" because the state
| information about tknews is stored in the tknewsrc file. Thus,
| saving it will save the current state of your interface.
|
| Currently, the state information which is kept includes
| the layout of the interface (horizontal or vertical), the overall
| geometry of your window, and the geometry of the metainfo and
| info widgets.
|
| You probably won't be saving your state too often, since the
| newsreader will do it for you if you exit using the "Quit" command.
| There are, however, times when it is a good idea. For example, the
| Abort command does not save your tknewsrc, so if you wanted to keep
| the state information of your interface without saving your newsrc
| file, you would first need to execute the "Save Tknewsrc" command,
| and then select Abort from the file menu. This way you would preserve
| how your interface looks without storing any changes made to your
| newsrc file.
