I'm also using xauth and it works great for me. I'm quite pleased
with it, actually... I've got a headless system that I do a lot of
development of a software tree on, and using EFS I can't take
advantage of RCS... therefore I need to work locally. So, I just
start an unmapped instance of XEmacs on it, and then use an authorized
gnuclient to attach and do my work. Works fine, haven't had a bit of
trouble with it.
