In fact, when I last compiled Oslo, I modified the defines to look like the
list from XFree-*3*.3 that Andreas posted earlier. I found I had to undef that
line that says #define BSD_SOURCE to get a working build -- but once I did
that, it compiled and has run without incident.

Now, if Andreas could just get --use-system-malloc working for us under glibc,
we'd *really* have something!
