Get it from
	ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/pub/beta/xemacs-20.3/

The patches are in
	xemacs-20.3-b5-20.3-b6.patch.gz
See etc/BETA for patching instructions. BEWARE of patch programs more
recent than 2.1 as the required parameters have changed.

The full kit is divided into 4 pieces:
	xemacs-20.3-b6.tar.gz

The primary Lisp/C/etc. sources.

        xemacs-20.3-b6-info.tar.gz
The info tree if you do not have a recent patched version of makeinfo.

        xemacs-20.3-b6-elc.tar.gz
Fresh bytecompiled lisp. Unlike beta5, this no longer contains the
LEIM .elcs.

        xemacs-20.3-b6-LEIM.tar.gz
Quail input method. [Due to a bug that has been corrected for beta7,
there are CVS directories present in this tarball, sorry].

Notes:
Moriokasan's patch put the Mule language dependent files into
mule/language, I've moved those (temporarily if it is a problem)
into the top-level lisp directory. There are a number of mule files
(documented nicely by Michael Harnois' recent report) that do not
compile. Do not worry about them.

Please build this with --debug=yes and bang on your favorite packages.
There are Ebola infections everywhere and if something behaves oddly when
it didn't a few betas ago this is likely the cause. I've cleaned up the
stuff I use the most and much of lisp/prim, but there is a lot more code
that needs to be checked. Note that none of the Ebola warnings I've seen
in the bytecompiler are dangerous. This includes anything coming from
the following routines:

	byte-compile-constant
	byte-compile-constants-vector
	byte-optimize-minus
	byte-optimize-plus
	byte-decompile-bytecode-1
	byte-optimize-logmumble
	byte-compile-push-constant

There are a number of patches pending that will get into some beta in
the near future.

Configure work has continued. XPM detection has been cleaned up, as
has detection of required X11 options.

This was an unscheduled beta due to the extreme amount of brokenness
in beta5. Beta7 ("Oslo") is scheduled for Saturday.

to 20.3 beta6.
-- Configure updates courtesy of Martin Buchholz
-- Mule updates courtesy of MORIOKA Tomohiko
-- Lots of Ebola cleanup, but much remains.
-- Miscellaneous bug fixes.

In case anyone missed Gary Foster's comment in xemacs-beta-discuss
and is curious, I'm now using an xface that is a picture of an Ebola
virus. :-/
