why would you not use -R /usr/openwin/lib...
 
On Solaris there really is no /usr/local and at many installations all 
optional software gets dumped into /opt instead of /usr/local... 

I don't want to start a religious war about where to dump software
just wondering why /usr/local/lib should be the default on Solaris...
