Subject: pending-del.el appears to be broken in 20.3-b2

The subject say it all...
I need pending-delete to let pc-selection-mode work, bu on startup I now
get a
'Wrong number of arguments: (lambda (verbose) "Turn on pending delete.
error. This is with pending-del.el; if I try and use the byte compiled
version, the error message is much, much longer.

The silly program does still run...

Another problem comes from deletion keys: I get delete doing backspace's
job another time!

Yours,

lorenzo
