How long have you been using this option?  Try not using it and see if 
that helps your stability any.  I've got const-is-losing enabled on my 
own builds.

We're missing a declaration or a #include somewhere for Linux.
etags.c is about to get a complete overhaul/synch with the latest
sources and this message doesn't seem to hurt anything.
