?  I have a 19.15 binary I built.  Why do I need the binary
distribution?  I guess I'm confused.

OK, I didn't know about that.  Actually, it looks like if you set
that, then edit-faces works the same as before.  You can change faces,
and when you Save Options the changes actually get written to
.xemacs-options.

(I can hear Jens screaming "Nooooo..!!!" from here.)

So that much is pretty good.  If users want to stick with edit-faces
they can.

But what happens if someone actually wants to migrate to customize?
Is it just not possible?

Exactly.  I definitely don't mean to do that.
