Dear readers,
this is the first time I speak here, forgive me, if I'm repeating
some others' ideas (but I've not seen anyone with my same attitude on this
list, in the last mounth)

We all know xemacs looks nicer than gnu (and the new logo is marvelous...)
The user interface is much cleaner for a newbye, since the menues are true
ones. But there is a small glitch, IMHO: we miss the equivalent of
pc-selection-mode, to help all of those getting free from all of the other
evil OS's... Really, the conventions coming from apple to M$, got into
Motif, and therefore could be a nice help even for those using 'standard'
unix apps. Here is the original pc-select.el, coming from gnu 19.34b, with
my small changes (really, I just renamed the function keys, and tried to
find a good replacement for the ensure-mark function, but I got nowhere.
Hope someone could put this to good use...

Yours

lorenzo m catucci

ps To help make my point, I've seen about a couple of call for CUI
key-bindings just in the last week (excluding my own!)
