2 problems with 20.1b8 efs (with patches).

1) When I try anon ftp I'm told that efs can't guess the anon
password. It says using nslookup failed. But nslookup is working
just fine on my linux box. Any ideas?

2) After then manually entering efs-generate-anon-password (or
whatever it's called) then efs becomes utterly confused. It has
not yet logged into the server because it failed in step #1 above,
but doesn't realize this. For example, if I try to copy a file it
eventually fails. When I look at the *ftp buffer, I see the server
is still saying "please login with user and passwd".
