I have noticed that saving can sometimes be very slow in XEmacs --
does anyone else experience this? I am not sure how to benchmark it,
as it doesn't seem to be easily repeatable.

Now it's not much of a problem per se, but can be *very* annoying when
XEmacs is auto-saving -- it is too big of a pause, for no reason. I
will probably have to turn autosaving off because of this.
