After the funny `make all-elc', which resulted in only 7%
purespace usage, I decided to run `make distclean; make all' --
and all is well.

I've seen this kind of thing happen a couple of times before;
however, iterating `make all-elc' would converge towards a
satisfactory state. But, hey, no worries. This never happened when
building from a distribution tarball...
