Probably dregs related to JWZ VM hacks.  Lucid folded, JWZ went to
Netscape, which means I won the argument by default.  :-D  None of
the hacks that required this loading survive unto modern times.
Actually, I think I folded the related code (mail-mode-map keymap
parenting) into VM so everybody won.
